Overview
Park Holidays UK is seeking a talented and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar, providing exceptional service to our guests, and leading your team to success. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality who is ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will be responsible for supervising bar staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring that the bar is always well-stocked.
Job Duties
- Greet and serve customers with a smile, ensuring they have a memorable experience. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Assist in serving food and drinks, ensuring they meet company standards for quality and presentation.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across the bar area, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are kept clean and orderly.
- Accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments, while ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed correctly.
- Always keep the bar well-stocked, managing inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring stock is rotated to maintain freshness.
- Supervise bar staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard, providing guidance and support as needed, and maintaining a positive team environment.
- Provide helpful and informative advice to guests, promoting the facilities and services on offer and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Participate in and lead team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new products and services.
- Work closely with the Bar Manager to ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently, stepping in to assist with any aspect of the bar's operations as needed.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role is essential.
- Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic numeracy skills.
- Good IT skills.
