About Us

The Scotsman Group is Scotland’s leading hospitality and entertainment company. We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team and help deliver top-notch service at one of our iconic locations.

The Role

As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer experiences, and a motivated team. You’ll work closely with the bar management to drive sales, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure stock control is maintained.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support bar staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure the bar runs efficiently during peak times, managing shifts and rotas
  • Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Uphold all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards
  • Train new staff and assist with ongoing development of team members
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Monitor and report on bar performance, helping to meet sales targets

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a bar supervisory or management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of licensing laws, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
