We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor to join the team at The Old Queen’s Head.
The Old Queen’s Head is an award-winning North London pub that moves between great food, proper pints and late nights. We serve one of the area’s most popular Sunday roasts, we’ve recently launched our in-house pizza concept Hot Saint, and our club room hosts DJs and late-night parties throughout the week.
It’s a pub with a lot going on. Great drinks, good music and a lively crowd. We’re looking for someone warm, charismatic and confident behind the bar who enjoys the buzz of nightlife and is ready to step up and help lead the team during busy service. If you enjoy music, busy rooms and the atmosphere of a proper late-night pub, you’ll feel right at home here.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
