Now part of The Loxley Collection, Polurrian is undergoing a £10 million transformation, including a stunning new spa and vitality hydropool with a semi-retractable roof, enhanced leisure facilities, a 120-person events space, additional family suites, and a beautiful new alfresco dining terrace. At the heart of this investment is a newly designed kitchen, driving an exciting food offering inspired by Mediterranean flavours and Cornwall's finest local produce.

The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You'll be passionate about delivering outstanding service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in creating memorable experiences for every guest.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm and welcoming approach.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
- Mix and serve classic cocktails and signature drinks (training provided where required).
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Operate the till and handle payments.
- Prepare and maintain bar areas to the highest standards.
- Support weddings, private events, and hotel functions.
- Ensure cleanliness, stock levels, and presentation of the bar are maintained at all times.
- Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless guest service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous bartending or bar service experience.
- A friendly, confident, and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and drink.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Cocktail knowledge is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
