Being a Barback means you are the secret ingredient to keeping the bar team going. You’re the behind-the-scenes hero, making sure our bartenders have everything they need, so the drinks keep flowing and the energy never drops. With your hustle and enthusiasm, you'll keep the bar stocked, clean, and running like a well-oiled machine, all while adding to the fun vibe of the place.
What You’ll Do:
- Stock Superstar: Keep the bar stocked with all the essentials - liquor, garnishes, ice, and glassware so bartenders are always ready to craft the next perfect drink.
- Prepping Like a Pro: Help bartenders prep for the rush, slice fruit, make garnishes, and get everything in place so drinks fly out fast and flawless.
- Keep It Moving: Maintain a steady flow of clean glassware. You'll be the essential support that keeps the bar operating seamlessly.
- Stay One Step Ahead: Anticipate what the team needs before they even ask - because a great barback is always prepared to jump in and keep things going.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
