# Barback
At Soho House, a Barback plays an essential supporting role in the smooth and efficient operation of the bar. Working alongside the bar team, you’ll ensure that bartenders have everything they need to deliver fast, high-quality service to our members and guests.
Your main responsibility is to:
- Assist the bar staff
- Ensure members receive a superior experience
- Deliver drinks orders from the bar to tables

## Key Duties
- Bring drinks quickly from the bar to their respective locations, ensuring tables are served efficiently
- Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment
- Provide personalised service and develop relationships with members in your assigned section
- ** Polish glassware** to ensure readiness for service
- Assist bartenders by:
- Restocking ingredients
- Running drinks
- Retrieving supplies
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including station setup and breakdown
- Carefully handle service equipment and store correctly
- Attend regular meetings with teams to learn about menu changes, specials, and daily tastings

## Requirements
To qualify, you should have:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar bar role
- Basic knowledge of:
- Bar operations
- Hygiene standards
- Stock rotation
- Must be:
- Hospitable and approachable
- Passionate about customer service
- Respectful toward colleagues and guests
- Committed to demonstrating competency in training and Club School
- Must be able to:
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Take direction and work in team environments
- Operate autonomously
## Pay Range (UK-based role) £14.50–£14.50 GBP (Note: Pay may vary in other geographies based on market differences.)
