Bare Metals Manager
Bare Metals Manager – Senior Position at Demo Co
Our company, Demo Co, is currently seeking a talented, motivated, and forward-thinking Bare Metals Manager to join our dynamic team. As the leader in our hardware department, you’ll be responsible for overseeing, managing, and coordinating our bare metal servers and other infrastructure.
About the Role
You’ll ensure optimal operation of our bare metal infrastructure across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company’s bare metal infrastructure, ensuring all servers are:
- Running efficiently
- Secure
- Maintained and updated as necessary
- Develop, implement, and monitor server procedures and controls to promote high-performance and secure systems
- Collaborate with IT professionals to:
- Install new software and hardware
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Ensure systems are up-to-date and optimally functioning
- Plan and execute projects related to:
- Network hardware installations
- Hardware replacements
- Execute disaster recovery actions and assist in developing:
- New disaster recovery procedures and policies
- Provide leadership and expertise in:
- Overall IT planning and execution
- Team mentorship and professional development

Requirements
- Proven experience in managing bare-metal infrastructure in a large company setting
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX system administration
- Understanding of:
- Computer networks
- Hardware architecture
- Data infrastructure
- Experience with software and hardware troubleshooting
- Ability to thrive in a high-stress, complex problem-solving environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced industry
