Role Responsibilities
As a Barista at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages to company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and positive guest experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment and inventory checks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Support the wider Food & Beverage team during busy service periods.
- Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.

Shift Patterns
As a Barista, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
