Barista
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our casual event barista team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy crafting high-quality drinks, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, this is a great opportunity to work across exciting live events with flexible shifts.
The Venue
Olympia Events is one of London’s leading live event venues, hosting world-class exhibitions, entertainment, conferences, and cultural experiences throughout the year. We are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a welcoming, energetic environment for both visitors and staff.
As part of our team, you’ll help create exceptional experiences for visitors attending exhibitions, conferences, concerts, and live entertainment events at one of London’s most iconic venues.
The Role
As a Barista at Olympia Events, you will prepare and serve high-quality beverages while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests during busy live events. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring customers receive excellent service at all times.
The Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a range of coffees, teas, and speciality beverages to company standards Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service Process transactions accurately using cashless EPOS systems Maintain clean, organised, and fully stocked coffee stations throughout shifts Support food preparation and service where required Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen procedures Work efficiently during high-volume event periods Assist with setup and close-down of café and beverage service areas Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth event operations Work shifts based on event schedules, including peak seasonal periods

What We're Looking For
Previous barista, café, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Knowledge of coffee preparation and milk steaming techniques is desirable Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work quickly and remain calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Flexible availability including evenings and weekends Passion for delivering great guest experiences
Please note: this is a casual role, and hours will vary depending on event schedules.
