About Padel Rebel
Padel Rebel is a new premium indoor padel and wellness club opening in Bolton. More than just a sports venue, we're creating a destination where people come to play, work, socialise and unwind. Alongside our world-class padel courts, members and guests will enjoy a premium café, wellness facilities, recovery areas and a welcoming community atmosphere.
The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Barista who takes pride in delivering exceptional coffee and outstanding customer service. You'll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for every visitor, whether they're grabbing a coffee before a match or relaxing with friends afterwards.
As a full-time, on-site Barista, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing high-quality coffee, teas, smoothies and other café beverages
- Providing warm, professional service to every customer
- Assisting with food preparation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Operating the till
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the café
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, efficiency and a positive attitude are essential.

- Prepare and serve premium coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Prepare light food items and ensure attractive presentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
- Operate coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness and food hygiene standards throughout the café.
- Restock ingredients and supplies and monitor stock levels.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Work closely with the wider Padel Rebel team to provide a first-class customer experience.
- Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Passionate about coffee and hospitality.
- Experienced as a barista or within a café, restaurant or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a team.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Desirable
- Previous barista experience.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience using commercial espresso machines.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
