Barista Job Opportunity – Restaurant Associates

We are recruiting a driven Barista to join our team on a full-time contract basis (37.5 hours per week) to craft beautifully crafted drinks while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Barista, you will:

  • Prepare and serve first-class coffee drinks and high-quality food
  • Contribute to first-class service and a welcoming atmosphere
  • Demonstrate excellence and creativity in your craft

Shift Pattern

For reference, the typical pattern includes five days of full-time shifts:

  • Monday – Friday: Full-time days

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation & Service
    • Create perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality food to delight customers
    • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area

  • Sales & Customer Engagement

    • Process payments efficiently (cash and card)
    • Provide an engaging and friendly customer experience
  • Bar & Stock Management

    • Maintain a stock of clean mugs, plates, and brewing supplies
    • Ensure operational checks on brewing equipment, reporting maintenance as needed
  • Brand Representation & Compliance

    • Represent Restaurant Associates in a positive manner
    • Adhere to Food Handling & Hygiene regulations and Health & Safety policies

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Experience using brewing equipment (essential)
  • Proven commitment to food and hospitality standards

  • Brilliant communicator with natural hospitality skills
  • Eagerness to excel under pressure and take initiative
  • Reliable and punctual, with strong reliability to meet shift times
