Barista - Costa
Driven Barista Role – Part-Time (24 hours per week)
We are recruiting for a part-time Barista at a leading High Street brand, helping to create beautifully crafted coffee drinks on a 24-hour contracted basis. In this role, you’ll leverage your skills to deliver first-class customer service and expertly crafted beverages while benefiting from a supportive, growth-oriented environment that celebrates individuality and recognises outstanding contributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting exceptional coffee drinks and serving high-quality food that exceeds customer expectations
- Maintaining a spotless bar area and ensuring optimal cleaning standards
- Processing cash and credit card payments efficiently and accurately
- Contributing as an enthusiastic team player and excelling in clear communication
- Tracking and managing stock of clean mugs, cups, and plates
- Learning and mastering brewing methods, beverage techniques, food preparation, and presentation
- Regularly checking the functionality of brewing equipment and reporting any maintenance needs
- Representing the Costa brand with a positive, welcoming attitude
- Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations

What We Look for in an Ideal Candidate
✔ Exceptional communication skills and an aptitude for building strong relationships ✔ Customer service experience, ideally in a hospitality-focused setting ✔ A commitment to excellence with a motivated, energetic attitude ✔ The ability to take initiative and make customer-led decisions ✔ Hands-on experience with barista equipment and brewing processes ✔ Confidence in working under pressure and managing time demands ✔ High standards of reliability and punctuality
