Barista - Costa
Driven Barista Needed (Part-Time, 24 Hours/Week)
We're recruiting a passionate Barista to blend world-class drinks and exceptional service in one of the UK’s largest high-street coffee brands. On this role, you'll craft incredible coffees, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and thrive in an inclusive workplace that invests in your growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare perfectly balanced drinks and serve high-quality food that delights customers
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area
- Handle payments (cash and credit cards) efficiently and accurately
- Be an engaging team player and clear communicator
- Monitor and replenish stock of mugs and plates
- Learn and master brewing techniques, beverage blends, and food presentation methods
- Inspect brewing equipment for proper operation and report any maintenance needs
- Represent Costa professionally, embodying the brand’s values
- Adhere to strict Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety standards

What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Barista will:
- Be a brilliant communicator, naturally building rapport with customers
- Have experience in customer service (preferred)
- Embrace excellence with a motivated, proactive approach
- Take ownership of decisions that enhance customer experience
- Have hands-on brewing equipment experience
- Work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
