Location: St Philip's Place, Birmingham

Salary:

  • £13.36 per hour
  • 24 hours per week (Tuesday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM)

Job Description

  • Delight customers with a friendly & professional manner
  • Prepare & serve coffee beverages, teas, drinks to BaxterStorey standards using the correct methods & equipment
  • Share our menu story, provide recommendations, and follow allergen procedures
  • Host a delicious counter—assembling hot foods & breakfast items
  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar & workspace in line with cleaning schedules, company, & COSHH standards
  • Follow all health & safety + food safety guidelines
  • Monitor stock levels & restock supplies as needed
  • Operate till systems for payments & orders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complaints
  • Assist with team tasks (e.g., deliveries, hospitality drop-offs)
  • Create a welcoming deli bar environment

Working Hours: Once per week: Kickback Event (4 hours) suspensatory, subject to rostering.


Requirements

  • Friendly, outgoing personality; a true people person
  • Great work ethic and an even greater smile
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for coffee, tea, and customer service

  • Adaptable, solution-oriented mindset
  • Previous food service experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of food safety & sanitation practices
