Barista
Barista – Full-Time Role (35 Hours/Week)

About the Role
As a Barista with Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, you’ll excel in producing beautifully crafted drinks and essential food offerings for a diverse range of customers—from hospital colleagues and patients to visitors. This is a full-time role (35 hours/week, 5 days per week shifts) in a dynamic environment that values positivity and hands-on contribution.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include:

Creating and delivering remarkable drinks/food
- Preparing perfectly blended coffee drinks and plating high-quality food that delights customers
- Applying knowledge of brewing methods, blends, food prep, and presentation

Bar & workspace excellence
- Maintaining a spotless bar area (tables, surfaces, equipment)
- Ensuring clean mugs, plates, and utensils are ready to serve
- Checking brewing/equipment functionality and reporting maintenance needs

Skills & Experience
- Proven customer service experience (hospitality, retail, or healthcare preferred)
- Practical brewing equipment knowledge (espresso machines, milk steaming, etc.)
- Work well under pressure with an unwavering commitment to timekeeping & reliability
- Ability to take initiative—always speaking up for customers
