Barista

Barista – Catering Team (Monday–Thursday, 8.00 AM–4.00 PM or 6.30 AM–3.00 PM)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Barista to join our Catering Team, based at our prestigious client location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on crafting exceptional coffee, delivering outstanding customer service, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Available working hours:

  • Monday–Thursday
  • Option 1: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Option 2: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coffee Crafting & Service

    • Craft and serve a variety of high-quality coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, teas, and seasonal specialities, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
    • Stay informed about the menus, seasonal specials, and food pairings to provide recommendations and upsell products.
  • Customer Experience

    • Provide excellent customer service, greeting guests with a professional, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
    • Anticipate needs and offer personalised recommendations where appropriate.
  • Operational & Administrative Tasks

    • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash transactions efficiently.
    • Monitor stock levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage deliveries to keep the coffee station stocked.
    • Clean and maintain coffee machines, equipment, and workspace, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
    • Report any technical issues to management promptly.
  • Team Support & Collaboration

    • Assist the catering team during busy periods, including food preparation and service.
    • Follow company policies, hygiene protocols, and security guidelines.
    • Contribute to a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and professionalism.
