Role Description

This is a full-time, Barista role based in Harrogate. The Barista will prepare and serve a range of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for pastries or light snacks, and managing transactions at the point of sale. The Barista will contribute to a positive customer experience by offering friendly, efficient service and sharing product knowledge when needed.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming and respectful environment for all guests.
  • Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for interacting with customers, coordinating with team members, and handling orders accurately.
  • Candidates should possess Barista skills, including basic coffee preparation, espresso machine operation, and an interest in learning more about specialty coffee.
  • Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, with an understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper handling of beverages and snacks.
  • Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage a fast-paced workload.
  • Reliable time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistent quality.
