About Maison Alaïa & the Role

Are you passionate about exemplary hospitality? Maison Alaïa is recruiting a Barista for its London café—an elegant space where luxury meets refined service.

You’ll enhance the Maison Alaïa experience every day, providing:

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing espresso and specialty coffee drinks to the highest standards
  • Crafting and presenting latte art with creativity
  • Providing exceptional, personalised hospitality to clients
  • Operating the point-of-sale system and managing transactions
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ensuring the café’s neatness, cleanliness, and visual appeal

What We’re Looking for

  • Experience in specialty coffee, with a preference for those skilled in:
    • Milk steaming
    • Latte art
    • Coffee machine calibration and weighing
  • Confidence in dialling machines, following coffee recipes precisely
  • A strong passion for hospitality – someone who cherishes client connections
  • A hardworking, positive attitude
  • Reliability and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Team player mindset and ability to liaise with key decision-makers
  • Eager to learn and grow, multi-task effectively
