About the Role
Being at the forefront of our community, you’ll help create our Starbucks experience by providing our customers with high-quality service, beverages, and products while cultivating our third place environment.Authenticity is valued at Starbucks – you’ll be encouraged to bring your true self to work, with access to our partner networks to foster a sense of belonging.
Responsibilities
The role of barista at Starbucks differs from other jobs. Your responsibilities include:
- Offering legendary customer service with a "customer comes first" mindset, building genuine connections with every guest.
- Crafting, serving, and ensuring consistency in high-quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming workspace for customers and colleagues.
- Supporting store procedures, including opening/closing, cash handling, and safety/security.
- Collaborating with team members during high-volume periods to ensure smooth store operations.
- Anticipating and delivering customer and store needs, personalising the experience for returning customers.
- Contributing to creating the third place environment where customers feel welcomed, inspired, and pampered.
