Your Purpose
You are an ambassador for our five-star beverages—your warmth, passion for drinks, and personalised service ensure guests feel cherished from their very first glance.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver an unforgettable 5-star beverage experience
- Proactively engage guests with our food and beverage offerings across the hotel
- Share knowledge enthusiastically to enhance their stay
- Maintain standards, policies, and procedures for luxury service excellence
Responsibilities & Contribution
- Provide exceptional, High-Five-star service with a personal touch as part of the bar team
- Prepare drinks promptly and accurately according to standardised recipes and service standards
- Support guests with informed, enthusiastic recommendations on menu choices
- Boost revenue through upselling and creative initiatives
- Contribute to beverage menu innovation, sharing mixology expertise and suggesting fresh recipes
- Educate guests on Savoy’s offerings, promotions, hotel stories, and history
Qualifications
Essential
- 1–2 years’ bartending experience in a luxury environment
- Deep passion for 5-star hospitality and a commitment to excellence
- Empathetic, with skills in building rapport and reading guest preferences
- Quick-thinking, resourceful, and adept at resolving issues in the moment
- Remains calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Fluent spoken and written English

Desirable
- Basic knowledge of POS systems
- Familiarity with Open Table reservations
- Industry certifications (WSET or similar)
