Bartender - 180 House, Central London

Bartender – Soho House

About the Role

At Soho House, a Bartender plays an essential part in delivering a premium beverage experience that is both memorable and personal. You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, ensuring the bar is fully operational, stocked, and consistently presented to the highest standard.

Your primary responsibility is to prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, while creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment for our members and guests.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks—including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages—to a consistently high standard.
  • Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, personalising the experience by remembering preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
  • Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.
  • Contribute to new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings, collaborating with the bar team.
  • Process orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all billing meets club standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to deliver smooth, seamless service.
  • Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating concerns to management as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
