Bartender
Gino D’Acampo Restaurant – Leeds Marriott Hotel
Role Overview
As a Bartender at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering a vibrant and authentic Italian bar experience. You will prepare high-quality drinks, engage with guests, and support the restaurant team to ensure exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Operations
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks
- Ensure all drinks are crafted to brand standards and presented to a high level
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control

Customer Experience
- Provide friendly, engaging, and professional service to all guests
- Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere at the bar
- Offer recommendations on drinks, including Italian wines and cocktails
- Handle customer requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Team Support
- Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service
- Assist in supporting busy service periods across the restaurant when needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold brand values
Compliance & Standards
- Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
- Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a bar role within hospitality
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wines (Italian wine knowledge desirable)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and presentation
