Role Overview

As a Bartender at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering a vibrant and authentic Italian bar experience. You will prepare high-quality drinks, engage with guests, and support the restaurant team to ensure exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks
  • Ensure all drinks are crafted to brand standards and presented to a high level
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control

Customer Experience

  • Provide friendly, engaging, and professional service to all guests
  • Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere at the bar
  • Offer recommendations on drinks, including Italian wines and cocktails
  • Handle customer requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally

Team Support

  • Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service
  • Assist in supporting busy service periods across the restaurant when needed
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold brand values

Compliance & Standards

  • Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a bar role within hospitality
  • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wines (Italian wine knowledge desirable)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good attention to detail and presentation
