Role Overview
A Rockwater bartender embodies proactive and cheerful teamwork, fueled by a genuine passion for hospitality. Seamlessly collaborating with both the team and guests, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating the overall guest experience. This involves meticulously crafting a diverse array of beverages, including expertly mixed cocktails, curated wines, assorted beers, premium spirits, coffees, and refreshing soft drinks—all tailored to meet Rockwater's exacting brand specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of the drinks menu, assisting with new ideas when appropriate.
- Ensure the hot and cold drinks, cocktails, and wine are presented according to Rockwater standards.
- Being aware of and following the correct allergy procedure at all times.
- Maintain bar/coffee stock levels at all times.
- Ensure coffee machine is properly maintained and in good working order.
- Minimize wastage at all times and record appropriately.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current licensing laws and ensure these are adhered to.
- Use the POS system correctly to place orders and take payment, ensuring all checks are correct and all items are charged at the correct price.
- To have a thorough understanding of the F&B systems operating within Rockwater.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
- To deliver the “Rockwater Experience” to all guests by following our Waves of Service standards.
- Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
- Maximizing sales opportunities throughout Rockwater by upselling to guests where appropriate.
- To have an understanding of Rockwater and the various experiences we offer our guests, including our Openwater subscription.
- To be at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and to clock in and out accordingly.
- To always be presentable and to represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard.
- Ensure to follow up any guidance or instructions given to you by management (i.e., overall bar cleaning).
- To assist where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.

The Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year's experience as a bartender in a high-volume venue.
- Experienced in making cocktails and coffees.
