We’re looking for a Bartender to join our team at The Parakeet.

Located in the heart of Kentish Town, The Parakeet is an independent public house and dining room. In the front, a lively local pub atmosphere centred around a busy, characterful bar. In the back, an award-winning dining room serving Basque-inspired small plates cooked over coal and fire. Led by chef Ben Allen, our kitchen has received critical acclaim from The Times, The Evening Standard, and more.

But don’t just take our word for it:

  • Top 100 restaurants in London
  • Top 50 Gastropubs
  • The Times | Giles Coren review
  • The Evening Standard review

As a Bartender, you will be part of the team that brings energy to the heart of the pub. You’ll deliver great drinks, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere for both regulars and new guests. Working alongside the Bar Manager and wider team, you will help maintain high standards behind the bar while creating a lively, friendly environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
