About the Role
East West, an independent neighbourhood pizzeria in the heart of Hoxton, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bartender / Runner. We are passionate about great food and exceptional customer service, and we're looking for like-minded talents to help us deliver an outstanding experience to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and brand standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and answering guest inquiries.
- Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction along with allergen compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, dining area, and workstations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations, being a team player is crucial for this role.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers with a positive working attitude.

What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years experience in a similar bartending role, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player that also works efficiently solo, and is able to own the bar.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Working Hours
- Wednesday - Friday 16:30-22:30
- Saturday and Sunday 14:30-23:00
- (35 hours week)
What We Offer
- £12.71p/h + Service Charge (around £14-£17+p/h inc tronc)
