Job Introduction
Job Description
Our premium bars and restaurants are places in which our customers will be able to sit back, relax and watch the world go by. Whether they are stopping in for a quick coffee break or dining in for an extraordinary culinary experience our customers expect the best. With a range of menus our bar teams deliver impeccable service every time. As part of this team you will engage with customers and create a luxurious experience where our customers can enjoy a choice of the latest trend setting cocktails, fine wines, a glass of champagne, or one of a range of specially selected craft beers.
Our restaurants are open 7 days a week and you will be required to work weekends and late nights as part of a team rota however working within a retail store, more sociable hours can be expected. Our founder, Harry Gordon Selfridge, famously expressed that ‘a department store should be a social centre, not merely a place for shopping,’ and this could not be truer for Selfridges today.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
