King Street Townhouse Hotel

The Role
We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join the team at King Street Townhouse Hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences through outstanding food and beverage delivery.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team and wider hotel departments, you will play a key role in ensuring every guest interaction reflects the warmth, style, and high standards that define King Street Townhouse.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering exceptional food and beverage service across Bar, Restaurant, Room Service, and Conference & Events operations
- Creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging experience for every guest from arrival to departure
- Preparing and serving drinks to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation at all times
- Taking guest orders accurately and efficiently, whilst delivering a seamless and personalised service experience
- Handling guest enquiries, requests, and feedback professionally and proactively
- Driving upselling opportunities across drinks, dining, and hotel experiences in line with departmental incentives
- Following cash handling procedures and ensuring accuracy across all transactions
- Maintaining outstanding cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all work areas
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations, hotel security procedures, and local licensing laws
- Supporting departmental targets and contributing to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver smooth and efficient guest experiences
- Demonstrating environmental awareness and supporting sustainable working practices
- Assisting wider hotel teams where required and building strong working relationships across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within hospitality, bartending, or food & beverage operations
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong knowledge of bar service, beverages, and food & drink operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
- The ability to remain calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working across multiple service areas and adapting to operational demands
- A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and continuously improve
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high service standards
- Good teamwork, organisational, and people skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and shifts in line with business needs
