As a Bartender at Waldorf Astoria’s Whiskey & Seaweed by Clare Smyth, you’ll be responsible for delivering refined, personalised service, combining expertise and discretion to craft exceptional beverages for discerning guests.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering seamless, attentive service, accurately receiving and fulfilling guest orders in a fast-paced, polished environment
- Crafting and presenting a curated selection of beverages, including:
- Classic cocktails
- Premium spirits
- Wine pairings
- Non-alcoholic offerings
- Supporting the floor team by handling food orders while maintaining a cohesive service flow
- Maintaining expertise on seasonal menus, updates, and promotions to guide guests with confidence
- Upholding pristine hygiene standards—ensuring the bar and service areas are immaculate at all times
- Managing guest transactions with efficiency, accuracy, and discretion
- Providing prompt, warm, and solution-focused responses to any guest inquiries
The Ideal Candidate
This requires an experienced hospitality professional who embodies luxury service excellence, affable collaboration, and precision. Key requirements include:
✕ Prior experience in a refined cocktail bar or premium hospitality environment ✕ Hands-on expertise in crafting classic cocktails consistently ✕ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including rostered shifts ✕ Topt-tier personal presentation and exceptional communication skills ✕ Calm adaptability to thrive under pressure in a high-demand guest-focused setting ✕ Genuine passion for delivering personalised, memorable, and elevated guest experiences
