Bartenders (Seasonal Contract)
We are looking for creative and high-energy Bartenders to join our garden bar and indoor program for a seasonal contract between May and mid-September. At PYRO, our drinks are an extension of the kitchen—focused on seasonal botanicals, fire-inspired techniques, and premium spirits. You’ll be delivering world-class mixology in a fast-paced environment where the atmosphere is as intense as the wood-fired grill.
Note: While this is a seasonal contract ending in mid-September, there may be the option to extend based on performance and business needs.
Requirements
- Mixology Mastery: Advanced skills in cocktail creation and a genuine passion for innovation. You should be comfortable with classic builds and bespoke, seasonal signatures.
- High-Volume Excellence: Proven experience working in high-volume bars without compromising on premium service standards or garnish precision.
- Commercial Awareness: A focus on consistency and waste management to ensure the bar remains profitable and efficient.
- Spirit Knowledge: A deep understanding of spirits, particularly Mediterranean-inspired liqueurs and botanicals, to align with our Greek heritage.
- Team Performance: A proactive "can-do" attitude—helping to train juniors and ensuring the bar station is always prepped for a high-intensity shift.
- Hospitality Soul: The ability to engage guests at the garden bar with the warmth of a traditional taverna and the polish of a London flagship.
- Availability: Full availability to complete the contract duration from May through to mid-September.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
