Job Description
As a Base Optimization Specialist in Airtable's "Ask an Expert" team, you will lead live customer sessions to diagnose and rebuild complex environments. You'll move beyond advisory work, directly restructuring relational data models, automation logic, and interfaces to ensure scalability. It’s a high-impact, technical role serving as a launchpad into product and solutions careers.

What You Will Do
- Conduct live diagnostic calls to identify structural limitations in customer environments and provide immediate, actionable architectural improvements.
- Hands-on restructuring of customer bases, optimizing relational data models, linked record strategies, and complex automation workflows for maximum performance.
- Translate technical architectural decisions into clear business outcomes, demonstrating how optimized structures unlock advanced AI and interface capabilities.
The ideal candidate
- Strong technical background in relational data modeling and no-code architecture, ideally within the Airtable ecosystem or similar B2B SaaS consulting roles.
- Exceptional communicator capable of guiding both technical and non-technical stakeholders through complex rebuilds while maintaining a consultative, supportive posture.
- Self-motivated builder who actively utilizes AI tools to prototype solutions and possesses functional knowledge of APIs, webhooks, or scripting.
