Job Description: Batcher/Plant Operator
As Batcher/Plant Operator based at our Singleton plant, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently. Depending on your skills and experience, you’ll conduct a range of activities including operate fixed and mobile plant, batch concrete to order, monitor production metrics, cleaning and yard duties, and be an effective member of the team, identifying and resolving any issues that arise in a dynamic work environment.
Individuals with a keen interest in the concrete industry and have flexibility to work early mornings and Saturday are encouraged to apply.

Your day will involve:
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs with dedicated programs and systems
- Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching
- Managing day to day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts
- Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
- General yard housekeeping and maintenance
What are we looking for?
- Interest in the concrete industry as full training will be provided
- Sound computer skills working with multiple systems and safety reporting
- Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required
