The Role
To play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality coated production by operating manufacturing practices efficiently, maintaining exceptional hygiene and food safety standards whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Operate batter production processes efficiently, ensuring output meets required volume, quality, and timing targets.
- Work closely with PCO, Line manager and cross-functional teams (Production packing, Hygiene, Engineering) to support smooth daily operations.
- Take ownership of your production area, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Carry out routine quality checks and accurately complete required documentation.
- Identify and report any quality defects or deviations without delay.
- Promote a strong food safety and quality culture within the team.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Take part in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute ideas that support operational excellence and cost efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
- Strong understanding of health and safety and food safety standards.
- Ability to meet production targets and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for recording and reporting data.
