Battery engineering lead
RAD is looking for an engineer to lead the development and delivery of its advanced battery products. Taking responsibility for all aspects of battery supply from specification, procurement, storage, shipping, installation, charging systems, service, support, lifecycle and eventually disposal, the role will span many disciplines from electrical and mechanical engineering to project management and production planning. Working closely with our suppliers the engineer will define the requirements for our range of high and low Voltage batteries to complement our propulsion products. As our product range grows, so too will the battery requirements and production volumes.
Keeping up to date with the latest battery technology to ensure RAD’s offering remains current and cost effective, the lead engineer will ensure that supply matches demand, in volumes, quality, reliability and standards compliance, specifically for marine applications.
The role will involve interacting with new customers to predict performance and help plan installations including production of wiring, charging and cooling system schematics along with installation and maintenance guides.
