Position Title: Battery Technical Support Engineer (Finland-based)
Project Location: Finland (Data Center Construction Project, Helsinki Metropolitan Area)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Finland-based Battery Technical Support Engineer to join our data center project delivery team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support for lithium battery system installation guidance, start-up and commissioning, and overall project testing coordination. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and client representatives to ensure successful project execution.

Primary Mission: Deliver high-quality technical support for the installation, commissioning, and testing of lithium battery systems in a hyperscale data center environment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Finnish safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Finnish vocational qualification in electrical engineering (e.g., sähkötekniikan insinööri) is highly regarded.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in lithium battery system installation, commissioning, or technical support.
- Experience in data center, energy storage systems (ESS), or UPS battery environments is required.
- Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS), UPS systems, and DC power distribution.
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Language:
- English: Professional working proficiency (mandatory for communication with international project teams and headquarters).
Work Authorization:
- Must be a Finnish citizen or hold permanent residency / valid work authorization for Finland. No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to be based on-site for the project duration.
- Physically capable of working in a construction environment (standing, climbing, lifting up to 25 kg).
- Ability to work flexible hours during critical commissioning and test phases.
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
- S1, S2, or S3 electrical work supervision certificate (from SETI Oy) – S2 or S3 is highly advantageous.
- Certification in low-voltage electrical work (sähkötyöturvallisuus koulutus).
