About the Role
Taptap Send is expanding into institutional payments, leveraging our infrastructure to serve crypto exchanges, fintechs, MTOs, and corporate treasury teams. This is an early commercial hire to establish this burgeoning business.
The Opportunity
- You’ll own the full BD pipeline—from initial outreach to live partnerships—collaborating with trading and operations to close deals efficiently.
- Shape the future of institutional cross-border payments in emerging markets.
Responsibilities
- Source and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech, and payments ecosystems
- Lead the entire BD cycle: outreach → deal qualification → contract negotiation → onboarding handoff
- Advocate for Taptap Send at industry events and establish authority in target segments
- Partner with internal teams to refine product offerings based on client insights and corridor priorities
- Maintain a structured pipeline with direct reporting to senior leadership
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within payments, crypto, or FX
- Proven network in crypto exchanges, MTOs, or EM fintechs
- Ability to sell sophisticated, technical products to high-value stakeholders (e.g., treasury teams, CFOs, heads of payments)
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable operating with minimal hand-holding
