As BDR Enablement Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind how our Business Development Representatives ramp, learn, and win — turning first calls into lasting pipeline. It’s a role built for someone who thrives on coaching, loves building programs from scratch, and wants to see their fingerprints on every deal our BDRs create. “The onboarding program here doesn’t just teach you the tools — it teaches you how to think like a top performer from day one.” Personalized "Why Join" Quote from the HM “Our BDR Enablement function is arguably the most critical part of our department – the onboarding and ‘ever-boarding’ of our team is crucial in what is a constantly changing sector & business development function” — James Somerville, EMEA Director, BDR What You’ll Do: Own and deliver onboarding for new BDRs — role plays, certifications, and product demos — and keep training on sales methodologies, cold calling, and objection handling current Provide regular call coaching, feedback, and skills assessments, and run workshops on advanced sales skills and product positioning Create and maintain enablement content — playbooks, scripts, objection guides, demo frameworks — and audit programs against feedback and performance data Partner with BDR managers, Product Marketing, and Sales Ops to align enablement with GTM goals, translating product updates and campaigns into BDR-ready resources Track enablement impact — ramp time, productivity, program adoption — and use data to identify skill gaps and design targeted interventions What You’ll Bring: Experience in BDR/SDR enablement, sales management, or as a senior BDR/SDR — ideally within SaaS or cybersecurity Experience in Sales/BDR enablement is advantageous, but not essential – this could be an opportunity for someone looking to take the leap from tenured BDR to a role in Enablement Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding/training programs Strong understanding of BDR workflows, sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc.), and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger) Excellent communication, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills Data-driven mindset; experience using analytics to measure and improve enablement effectiveness Technical acumen in cybersecurity or SaaS Experience with enablement platforms (Highspot, Seismic, etc.) Familiarity with pipeline metrics and sales process optimization What We Bring: Mimecast is built on curiosity, resilience, and a shared belief that cybersecurity should feel less like a fire drill and more like a craft. You’ll build visible, measurable impact on pipeline generation, giving you a strong platform to grow within Mimecast’s broader Sales and Revenue organization. Manager's Working Style & Team’s Purpose You’ll report to the EMEA Director - BDR, with a dotted line into the Global Sales Enablement Team — giving you both a tight partnership with BDR leadership and a seat at the table with enablement peers across the business. Expect a collaborative, feedback-driven working style that trusts you to own your programs end-to-end while staying closely aligned on what BDRs need to hit their numbers. The base salary range for this position is £60,000−£90,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
