The Role

We’re searching for an energetic, ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK-based go-to-market team and progress into Account Executive roles. Join early and express your potential early!

Responsibilities

🔄 Inbound and Outbound Growth • Tackle research, call, email, and LinkedIn outreach • Handle a varied mix of inbound leads (live queries) and outbound leads (cold contacts)

🎯 Strategic Prospecting • Use research, phone engagement, and different creative tactics to build traction • Leverage self-recorded video and personal gifting for standout prospects

📊 Team-First Relational Selling • Work closely with Account Executives on prioritised campaigns • Align team efforts on an ABM-powered account strategy

📚 Programmatic Execution • Keep up with aboxic-internal training tools (playbooks, use cases, handoff specs) • Remain up to speed with differentiators via enablement resources

📞 Pitch Development & Metrics Focus • Refine your phone conversation script quarterly for deeper prospect alignment • Aim to convert call queries → qualified leads sustainably

Requirements

Candidate criteria:

🔹 Experience • 9–18 months in Business Development or Sales (reference to candidate’s existing roles) • Cold calling and emailing subject matter expertise (preferred) • Track record of inbound lead-to-client funnel conversion

🔹 Motivation • Passionate about startup ecosystems and digital transformation • Keen to join an AI-first WFH tech stack innovator

🔹 Skills • Learns quickly and fosters internal collaboration easily • Exudes positive, noisy personality and commercial sensibility

🔹 Qualities • Natural curiosity and irreplaceable idea generator • Creative problem solver + career orientation • Responsibility → Team newskeepers hold complementary roles to accelerate each other’s growth
