Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire - Onsite 4 days per week

We are seeking a BDR Manager – EMEA to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), driving pipeline generation and supporting revenue growth across the region.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in scaling Ideagen’s growth by building a motivated, high-energy team culture focused on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on coach, you’ll demonstrate best practice, set the standard for excellence, and create an environment where individuals and the team can thrive and consistently overachieve.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives to deliver consistent high performance
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating best-in-class business development behaviours, techniques, and standards
  • Build and execute structured development plans to support individual and team progression
  • Create a high-energy, positive, and motivating team environment that drives engagement and results
  • Inspire and motivate the team to exceed pipeline, activity, and performance targets
  • Drive pipeline generation and qualification to support regional revenue growth
  • Monitor team performance using data and insights to continuously optimise outputs and conversion rates
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard high-potential BDR talent, building a strong future talent pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Generation teams to align on strategy and execution
  • Ensure effective use of sales tools and CRM systems
  • Establish scalable processes, frameworks, and ways of working to improve team effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate reporting and visibility of pipeline performance

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in BDR/SDR leadership, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a genuine passion for developing others
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to perform at their best
  • Leads by example, with a hands-on approach and willingness to demonstrate best practice
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on accountability and achieving targets
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and act on insights
  • Experience recruiting and developing top talent with future sales potential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
