The Crieff Hydro Spa & Beauty Therapy Role
As one of Scotland’s most iconic hospitality businesses, Crieff Hydro welcomes 200,000 guests yearly through our hotels, restaurants, bars, and immersive experiences. With recent investments—like transformed kitchens, restaurants, and bars—we’re ready to deliver even better moments for our guests.
Now, we’re buzzing with expansion in our spa and beauty divisions, and we need enthusiastic, talented individuals to join our team.
As a Spa/Beauty Therapist, you’ll:
- Be an essential part of our busy, joyful spa team, delivering world-class service
- Use your passion for customer care and luxury hospitality to ensure every guest leaves feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and truly pampered
- Help drive revenue through your expertise with our spa products
- Foster warm, personal connections, listening to guest feedback with kindness and professionalism
This is a part-time, permanent position requiring availability for rotated shifts to accommodate our spa’s dynamic hours—open Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00 and Saturday–Sunday 09:00–18:00.

Key Responsibilities
Client Care
- Deliver exceptional spa and beauty treatments from massages and facials to electric services
- Offer personalised recommendations using your product knowledge
- Listen first, then advise, with genuine warmth and attention
- Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene and professionalism in every treatment
- Upsell all-in-one package deals, spa treats, spa hires, in-room facilities, family packages, and everything in between
- Champion our reputation for luxury, relaxation, and wonder each day

Beauty & Retail Operations
- Maintain sales performance goals, embracing gratuities, commission-based rewards
- Drive sales through product education—our team and guests love to know how to get the most out of our treatments, products, and relaxation spaces
- Update loyalty membership and appointment systems with accuracy
- Manage and promote on site direct sales channels, including ** sachet sales in spa treatment rooms**
- Work within a fast-paced environment, ready to embrace upselling, cross-selling opportunities to enhance the guest’s experience
Health & Safety Leadership
- Support strong practice to always promote hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and safety practices in high footfall areas
- Ensure our team undergo new practices and refresher training whenever necessary
What We’re Looking For
- CV & Experience: Ideally HNC or equivalent in Beauty Therapy—or at least spa and/or beauty therapist experience
- Passion for Luxury Spa Products: A genuine love for the spa experience and common sense service skills (no formal training to be thoroughly avoided!)
- Willingness to Listen: No guessing here—we lean on your guests for every next step
- Team First: A collaborative attitude, respecting colleagues, no egos, and always willing to pitch in
- Creative Mindset: Embrace openness to new ideas, fun experiments, and ultimately more memorable guest experiences
- Resilience: No task is too big—whether it’s fixing a system or eagerness to try something new
- Commitment: A positive “get it done” attitude—with the warmth to make everything a little smoother along the way
What You’ll Get From Us
Base Salary
- Earning up to £13.75 per hour, depending on experience
Pays & Perks
- Gratuities & Commission: While gratuities are for personal well-being, commission refers to any trainings, incentives, and perks that align with corporate business plans

- Live-In Accommodation (terms negotiable):
- On-site housing with bills included may be available in converted safes and suites, some suites single occupancy with ensuite there is availability
- Availability and rates (set by HMRC) can be discussed at interview
