SFJ Awards is the awarding organisation working across the policing, justice, fire and rescue and private security sectors. Regulated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, SFJ Awards seeks to offer the best quality and most trusted qualifications in the private security industry.
We’re seeking applications from candidates to become External Quality Assurance Associates and would like to hear from suitably qualified and experienced professionals with significant practical experience of working within assessment, training, and quality assurance in licence-linked private security industry qualifications.
The Role
The role of our External Quality Assurance Associate is to quality assure our centre’s assessment and internal quality assurance against SFJ Awards requirements, and to ensure our centres continue to comply with the SFJ Awards approved centre requirements. The role is flexible.

Requirements
To Be Considered, Our EQAs Must Have:
- Hands-on experience of working within the Private Security Industry – preferably 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years.
- Recent experience of Assessing and Internal Quality Assurance of licence-linked Private Security qualifications.
- (Desirable) An External Quality Assurance qualification (Level 4 Award in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice).
