Before/After School Club Assistant
Salary: Grade 2, Point 3 £25,185, Actual salary £8,594 per annum (15 hours) £4,297 per annum (7.5 hrs) approx. depending on years’ service
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- Breakfast Club 7.30 am – 9.00am (7.5 hours)
- Afterschool Club 3.30pm – 6.00pm (7.5 hours)
Start Date: 1st September 2026

Ridgeway is a successful 2 form entry primary school in Chasetown. We currently have 417 pupils on roll in the main school and a further 200 children accessing Early Years provision in our term time Ridgeway Tots twos group and Sunbeams Nursery and Sunny Days Nursery, which is open all year.
Ridgeway Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. School received a further ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED at our last inspection in December 2024 and Sunny Days in July 2024. Ridgeway Primary Academy is one of the founding schools in the Primitas Learning Partnership, a cross phase MAT serving the local area which opened in September 2021. Currently there are seven schools within the partnership; two high schools, four primary schools and a special school. The Trust provides opportunities for the schools to work collaboratively to support school improvement.

We are looking for someone:
- To work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide the care of the children during the Breakfast Club and/or After School Club.
- Supervision of Pupils.
- Helping to serve ready-prepared breakfast and tea items.
- Supervision of children before, during, and after the meal.
- Supervising play activities.
