Do you want to be part of a team helping to shape the future of young people? The Beacon School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your Opportunity

This is a pivotal role, working in close partnership with the Deputy Headteacher for Behaviour and Inclusion and the Assistant Headteacher for Engagement, Wellbeing and Intervention. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working with young people and supporting those with different needs, vulnerabilities and behaviours.
  • Experience of supporting students to promote positive behaviour for learning.
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging circumstances.
  • Ability to form strong working relationships and be an effective team player.

The Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Salary: Associate 2 Point 11 - 15 - £24,555 - £25,181 FTE
  • Actual Salary: £22,004.71 - £22,565.69
  • Hours: 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4pm (term time 39 weeks per year)
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Closing Date: Sunday 12th July at 11.59pm
  • Interview Date: W/C 13th July 2026
