Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Bury : M45
Pay Rate: GBP13.69 to GBP15.83 per hour
Position: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: ASAP
About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a reputable alternative provision in Bury. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities For The Behaviour Mentor
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- Implement tailored behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and review individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and record student progress, reporting findings to senior leadership.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications And Experience For The Behaviour Mentor
- Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with students.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields are desirable.
