Working Pattern
- Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time, term-time only)
- Post is pro rata to the specified salary
About the Role
We are seeking an [inspired Behaviour Mentor] to support our Year 9–11 pupils at [East Sussex Skills Academy], an Alternative Provision.

Job Role & Responsibilities
Your primary aim is to:
- Work with Yr 9, 10, and 11 pupils in an Alternative Provision setting
- Support academic progress and overall behavioural development
- Partner with teachers, students, and families to create structured, uplifting education

Key Activities & Support
- Contribute to policy & program design (special emphasis on behaviour provision)
- Apply forward-thinking educational principles
- Undertake induction & Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance skills
Professional Requirements
- Safeguarding is a core value — enhanced [DBS check] is mandatory
- Provide a self-declaration form adhering to Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018
- Note: Offer of employment is subject to successful waiver approval by Ofsted if applicable
