Behaviour Mentor East Sussex Skills Academy (Secondary)


Working Pattern

  • Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time, term-time only)
  • Post is pro rata to the specified salary

About the Role

We are seeking an [inspired Behaviour Mentor] to support our Year 9–11 pupils at [East Sussex Skills Academy], an Alternative Provision.

Job Role & Responsibilities

Your primary aim is to:

  • Work with Yr 9, 10, and 11 pupils in an Alternative Provision setting
  • Support academic progress and overall behavioural development
  • Partner with teachers, students, and families to create structured, uplifting education

Key Activities & Support

  • Contribute to policy & program design (special emphasis on behaviour provision)
  • Apply forward-thinking educational principles
  • Undertake induction & Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance skills

  • Provide a self-declaration form adhering to Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018
