Behaviour Mentor : Islington
Supporting KS4 and KS5 students with Autism and Behavioural Needs
Are you passionate about making a difference in young peoples lives? This specialist setting in Islington is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 14:19 with autism and associated behaviours.
What The Role Offers
- Work with KS4 and KS5 learners in small class sizes
- Support students with Autism and behavioural needs
- Focus on vocational courses : helping prepare students for life beyond school
- Build strong, trusting relationships to promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people with SEN, autism, or behavioural challenges
- Resilient, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to de:escalate situations and support positive behaviour strategies
- A team player who can also work independently
- Background in youth work, mentoring, or care is highly valued
