About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive Special Needs School in Warwick is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team full-time from September 2026.

The School supports pupils aged 4–11 with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Key Responsibilities
- Follow statutory safeguarding guidance in line with KCSIE
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour using consistent strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
- Encourage positive engagement in lessons and school activities
- Record and monitor pupil progress and behaviour
- Complete administrative tasks as required

Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
- Minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children in an educational setting
- Experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
