About the Role Milk Education is working with welcoming and inclusive primary schools to recruit Behaviour Support Assistants for September starts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference by supporting children with behavioural, emotional, and additional learning needs in a nurturing school environment.
Ideal candidates will have experience retiring from roles such as:
- Teaching Assistant
- Behaviour Mentor
- Youth Worker
- Sports Coach
- Supporting vulnerable children
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Work alongside teachers and SEND staff to support learning and wellbeing
- Build positive relationships to help pupils thrive in school
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Calm, patient, and resilient
- Passionate about supporting children with behavioural or additional needs
- A confident communicator and positive role model
- Experienced working with children or young people in schools, care, coaching, youth work, or similar settings
