Are you a compassionate graduate or experienced support worker looking to make a real difference in a child’s life? A welcoming primary school in Dagenham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to provide 1:1 support for a male pupil with Autism and behavioural needs.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Behaviour Support Mentor who:
- Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Is calm, patient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
- Can build positive relationships and act as a consistent role model
- Possesses excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
In This Role, You Will:
- Support your pupil throughout the school day, helping them:
- Regulate emotions
- Engage positively in learning
- Develop social skills
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
- Implement strategies to enable the child to thrive academically and emotionally
