Dry Cleaning Hub Manager (Bellshill)

Area Manager: Rab McLean

Job Purpose

To effectively manage the Dry Cleaning Hub branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, delivering an outstanding service to receiver branches, and fostering a positive work environment. As a Hub Manager, this role requires an emphasis on maximising sales and profitability while maintaining operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Operational Oversight

    • Maintain high standards in housekeeping, maintenance, and stock management, including stockholding, ordering, usage, and organisation.
    • Oversee administration, training, and daily tasks.
  • Customer Service

    • Promote excellent customer service for all receiver branches, including regular contact to address garment or admin-related issues.
  • Service Delivery

    • Ensure the hub operates within correct opening hours to provide the Next-day service as required by receivers.
    • Assist in resolving complaints and providing tailored advice to receivers.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks aligned with set training manual standards.

  • Security & Compliance

    • Safeguard premises, stock, fittings, and machinery.
    • Carry out branch stocktaking.
  • Staff Management & Development

    • Mentor and train staff to ensure competence in their roles.
    • Conduct daily and weekly administration.
    • Monitor hub opening/closing times and enforce compliance with company procedures.
    • Ensure uniform compliance for all colleagues.
  • Team Leadership & Health & Safety

    • Lead colleagues to achieve a happy and efficient service.

Experience

  • Fully trained in managing a Hub Branch, with proven competency in people management and all operational services.
