Our Rewards and Benefits team are now looking for a Benefits & Recognition Specialist to join us. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how our Benefits schemes and further grow and develop are offering.
About the Role
The Benefits & Recognition Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and continuous enhancement of all colleague benefits and recognition programmes. The role plays a key part in shaping and implementing competitive, colleague-focused offerings that support the overall colleague experience and align with business priorities and our values. It also leads the delivery of our flagship colleague events – the HAFE Awards and Long Service celebration.
You will also:
- Lead the development and evolution of the benefits strategy that aligns with our values and supports the delivery of business objectives and colleague needs.
- Own the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing management of all benefit programmes, including health, pension, insurance, and voluntary benefits on the Benefex platform.
- Lead market benchmarking and use insights to shape and enhance benefit offerings to ensure competitiveness and identify opportunities.
- Partner with brokers and external providers on contracts, renewals, and service delivery.
- Ensure accurate administration and governance of all benefits programmes.
- Working cross functionally across HR to support on Financial Wellbeing initiatives, acting as a trusted benefits expert ensuring strategies remain aligned and mutually complementary.

This role is a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You
You’ll have proven experience in benefits management, along with experience designing and implementing employee recognition initiatives. You’ll have a strong understanding of the industry, market practices, and regulatory requirements, along with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
You’ll have an Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights, with strong communication and project management skills. You’ll have experience working with third-party vendors and providers, and experience of using a flexible benefits system.
